I want to see my TV weather-casters adopt this as one of the designators of temperatures.
"Tonight, we're expecting temperatures to get down into the low 40's into your-lighters-won't-light territory, so bring your sensitive plants in, or cover them".
Yesterday was 80+, tonight has possible snow, Missouri.
Yeah Monday the high was 38…it’s 76 right now
We usually get a good 35+ temp swing between night and day here during this time of year. Was 48 this morning, 82 now.
40f, breezy and misty. Raw and miserable to be outside.
My unscientific temperature in the shade
93 here
80 at work 82 at the house
40 here. 64 in the house, like it's been all winter, other than 58 overnight.
I was hunkered down in my designated safe spot on my slab of concrete, an interior closet with multiple walls outward beyond that. There's was a tornado warning, and it seemed like it was aiming right at me. The good news is they just said they have seen nothing on their screen indicating flying debris detection. Looks now like it is farther to the north of me as it is passing by. Glenn is to the south of me so I have not tried to text him up. I think they'll be fine.
But I did send Paul a text about 12:15 central because they had a warning about the same time in Columbia. Haven't heard back yet.
Paul’s all good. Got a text reply from him about 4:30am.

Thanks for checking on me, my phones woke me up with all the alerts, I checked the radar and the local weather folks telling everyone to take cover, it appeared to me to be tracking a mile or two south of the house so I said a prayer rolled over and went back to sleep, I didn't see Bob's message till I woke up. Columbia has downed trees and storm damage a couple miles south of me.
Normal spring weather, 5-12 inches of rain forecasted for the next few days. Tornado watches also in the forecast, currently under one till noon.
34 at the moment. Supposed to only get to 41 today. Where the hell is spring?

Round after round of severe Storms and Tornadoes through west and Middle TN. Texted @Bob_Luken he is good, or at least safe the tornado headed towards them down graded to a severe storm. Several bad storms last night in the general area.
I made it to work. I texted Glenn earlier. Hopefully l didn’t wake him up for nothing. Haven’t heard back yet. Sorry Glenn.

@d_blades you make it through everything ok?
No problems yet, but today and tomorrow will probably be very interesting, as it will for the guys east of here.

Damn, you and yours good Steve?
I'm in Tampa, my nephew tells me my houses are still good, Faye's bailing water in her house. Many areas are evacuating.
My area missed everything damaging, thank you.
