In the area of Murfreesboro/Rutherford County, a recently purchased and transported pet zebra escaped his new owner's pasture within 24 hours and has been on the run for over a week now. Sherrif's department and volunteers have not been able to keep track of him, but recent reports indicate they may have eyes on him now. The memes are plentiful but terrible. Mostly AI generated crap. But the interested locals have dubbed him Ed, and hopefully he doesn't get hit and killed by a car like the bear who wandered too far outside of his normal range and ended up running scared among too many humans in middle TN.
The zebra is probably blending in too well to be tracked down easily, especially considering it’s wearing black and white stripes like all the other convicts runnin around down there.
BREAKING: ED THE ZEBRA HAS BEEN CAUGHT.
The team from Texas which sold Ed was here with a chopper.
A veterinarian with a tranquilizer gun his Ed with a dart.
He went down after a few minutes and then a crew on the ground strapped him up and he was safely airlifted.
