Taking a break

I'm up to date on sending out all my winnings, but I have to take a break from participating in trades/passes/games for a bit. We're in the process of buying a new house, and that means I'm not allowed to buy ANYTHING, including postage lol! I'll still lurk, and post, but won't be able to play. Stay smokey!

LOL! I will once we get the address, we put the offer in yesterday, and were told this morning "**Multiple offers Highest and Best by 9:00PM 9/8/2018**" FFFFFFUUUUUUU!!! Housing market here in Columbus is nuts, good houses stay on the market for ~2 days. Sadly, this one is priced high enough that we can't afford a bidding war on it.

WooT!! The house hunt is OVER!! After trying to find something we liked, in a neighborhood we wanted, at a price we could afford, our landlord offered us the house we're currently in for what he paid for it 20 years ago! Well under our budget, in an amazing neighborhood, and we don't have to move! Still on break till closing, but the end is in sight!!!

We've lived here for 10 years, never missed a payment, and only come to him with major problems. That and he's getting out of the landlord business due to health reasons and wants to retire, so is getting rid of 60+ properties. We just made it easy on him to get rid of this one.And yes, I have my last Montecristo #2 that I brought back from Havana to celebrate when we close on the house!9

I also have my last bottle of Havana Club chilling out in the fridge, I'll make sure to pour myself a nice drink, light up that piece of Havana heaven, and sit out on MY back deck!

Signed on the house yesterday!!!! Enjoyed my Monte No.2, and a couple fingers of Havana Club Anejo Especiale! I'll get down to the post office in the morning to send out the winnings from last months lotto (totally dropped the ball on that one, my bad!)
