how long does it take to get back ordered items

Hard to say. Could be weeks, could be months. I had something that was backordered for 7 months.

@K_johnson1 I don't know how long it will take for you to receive an answer on the forum, but you are welcome to call them at 800.357.9800 to find a quick answer. The C.com staff are always willing to assist you with any questions you have.

Usually, you have to wait until they get the cigars in stock again.  That's when they ship them.  Then on top of that, there's the time in transit.  But don't worry, you'll get them when they get them.

Until they are no longer backordered.
But White Owls are pretty popular, so it may be a while.
