Sorry - haven't been on much due to schedule here...He seems to be doing quite well...smart enough to stay on the opposite side of the fence when the dogs are out and still using the box for sleeping. He curls down into the blanket so far you would never know he was there...Seems to be happy...
What is a good, reasonably prices camera, that can do video and decent pictures?
This trip we want to take next month to get the grandkids, I think I want a teal camera. The idea of hanging out an old steam train with a phone, I have visions of the phone taking flight.
In Fumo Pax Money can't buy happiness, but it can buy cigars and that's close enough.
here are some Canon models. don't know your price range or if it needs to be able to fit in your pocket. Canon or Nikon have good reputations. Well, I guess we ended up with a Nikon Coolpix L340, that a friend said they aren't using.
Not fancy, but free is far better than nothing.
Hopefully, it will do everything we need.
Not a high end fancy camera, but it seems to have a lot of features.

Always dabbled in photography, ever since my first photo class in high school. I miss the old style, fully manual cameras and shooting black & white film and even color slides. It took me a LONG time to give in to digital but I'm diggin it. Just need to get out more often.
Not taken with my camera but I was out in Colorado a few years back with my old team, on a work trip. There was a group of us that were into photography and had a photo club in work. A good friend of mine (also on the team) is also an amazing photographer and just happened to drive out to Colorado from Philly and brought 3 of his cameras with him. This was shot on a full frame Canon (don't remember the model) with a 10mm lens (just getting into fish-eye territory). Edited in lightroom.
In addition to astrophotography, I've also gotten into macrophotography. This was shot with my camera (Canon 70D) with a reverse ring and an old 28mm wide-angle, manual lens from one of my old cameras. Just a little jumping spider that was hanging out on our deck.

Does it have to be teal?
OMG. WTF did my phone do?
I did not even catch that?
It should have been a "real" camera.
