I've been listening to the Turnpike Troubadours all day, and enjoying it, but I overdosed and am now listening to the Full Custom Gospel Sounds of The Reverend Horton Heat to clear my mind out and restore my mental balance.
No Sepultura?
Next time.
This is what happens when I listen to too much Country or Bluegrass.

That’s kinda odd…. The same thing happens to me. Must be something in the water…. 👴🏻
I feel the same way after 3 or 4 Sinatra songs. I can truly enjoy one or two, but any more at one time and I start gagging.

Looks good, but I have a very low threshold for Tom Petty.

An oral response to the aural, I agree, and they make my eyes cross too.
When from that Kat Hasty song to listening to an Emmylou Harris album online. Emmylou kept the Father's Day California Bluegrass Association Festival waiting for hours for her performance because she wanted to take a bath before coming out on stage. Grass Valley fairgrounds is a dusty place, but I didn't listen to her for years after that.
It was at one of these festivals after listening to acoustic string music for three days that I had my most extreme reaction to music genre overload.

The Stagecoach festival has a livestream at Twitch.tv/amazonmusic if you like that sort of thing. Ryan Bingham is on right now with Turnpike Troubadours, Tyler Childers and Chris Stapleton coming up later.
You can also watch it on the Amazon Video app on your Roku or other streaming device under Live TV. I think the stream quality is a bit better, much better than watching it on Twitch on my PC and setting it up to display on the Roku from the PC anyway. Watched that way it sounded like the audio was dragging a bit.

People who listen to only one genre of music are exhibiting a trait of low intelligence. It's a fact, maybe.

This popped up on a Spotify curated playlist of similar artists. I like it. https://youtu.be/NAY3FqYu6Ek

Oooohh, the guitar’s nice but the voice hurts my ears…. 🤨
I think she's got a great voice but I did have to turn the volume down a bit. Seems like it was recorded with the vocal levels higher than normal.

Yeah, I downloaded the twitch app for the show last year. The audio was cutting out briefly at first but it sounds really good now. Turnpike time!
Openers are Charles Wesley Godwin and Midnight River Choir although I'm not sure if their sets will be shown.
Came up on my playlist just now. Summer is here.
