Today's starting off with country music, the Bakersfield sound with random artists.

Unsatisfied with the selection from Amazon Music, I dug up some old podcasts of a show called Bakersfield and Beyond that I used to listen to.

Check out parry Gripp. Seriously grows on you check our raining tacos and breakfast burrito in particular. And pancake explosion, sounds just like the Bloodhound Gang. Can't get enough of this stuff, and yes I have been drunk for several days.

Trigger warning: the above podcast came from San Francisco and there may be mention of San Francisco lifestyle and politics topics.

I've been on a Mike Oldfield kick for the past couple of days. Some of his stuff reminds me of a cross between Pink Floyd and Dire Straits.

Now listening to the traditional Tuvan throat singing of Huun-Huur-Tu. Paired with a Killer Bee and iced tea, it's taking me to an altered state of consciousness.

Been listening to Tom MacDonald lately. His lyrics are something else.

@Yakster, our tastes in music are fairly similar. Have you tried Jean Luc Ponty? Not as relaxing as Wollenwieder, but still decent background.

I like Jean Luc a lot, been listening to his stuff since the 80s.

I just found the genre "chap-rap". It's victorian/steam punk inspired hip hop. My wife hates it, but it's oddly enjoyable. Professor Elemental has 15 or so albums (!) and each one its an adventure in an ongoing story. They even have diss battles back and forth between these "rappers".
