I'm of the opinion that CLE lost because of a bad no-call and some stupid rules. Maybe someone can explain why a play can't be reviewed in the last 2min of a half, or why a touchback should cause a loss of possession.

P, A head on hit is not reviewable. and IMO it was clean.

So just playing the devils advocate, what do you propose they do with the ball when the offense fumbles through the end zone? I know you didn't mean to do that. We will place it at the 1 yard line and give you another shot at it?

If he had possession and fumbled it out of bounds at the sideline, it would be placed at that spot. I guess I'm just wondering why the endzone is different. And, why it should be a loss of possession.

Or maybe I'm just trying to anonymously console Francis.

Well that hit at the end of the first half in the browns game was not clean per the rules. If you have a problem with the rule, I can see that. I agree with @Vision that it's hard for me to rationalize changing possession when the defense never touched the football. However the browns have been the beneficiary of that before. I know that Bill cowher had a strong opinion of it in the halftime show, but that's because his Steelers fumbled through the end zone against the browns decades ago.

Bottom line for this browns fan was that we had two chances to win at the end of the game. We had to punt and then we could not stop them in the last four and a half minutes. Chiefs won fair and square. On to Buffalo.

Brady has an axe to grind. That's dangerous for Saints. Predict Brady gets the win in the end.

I agree (except the consoling Francis part). Every team has been on the good and bad side of that call, but I just can't see how you could let the offense retain possession and take another shot at the end zone.

No consoling necessary. If I were a Steelers fan, I wouldn't have to worry about things like divisional playoff weekend.

Nah, I'll say Rodgers vs Allen. Think Mahomes was more neck injury than concussion, look like it got twisted weird. And those neck injuries take a long time to heal and certainly to feel normal. I imagine would be especially tough for him as he likes to throw the ball at tough angles.

KC not having a running game will be tough against the Bills as they can sit back and play 2 deep and double over the middle.

Rodgers and Adams too dam good and will roast that Bucs D. Bucs D had a great game no doubt, but they played against Brees who hasn't thrown a ball deep in 3 years now.

We'll see, I also said the Cowboys would win the Super Bowl before the season, so what do I know?

Mahomes was diagnosed with a concussion by the independent neurologist, and he will have to pass non-tean controlled protocols to get back in. He was rubber kneed and couldn't stand with a thousand yard stare. Getting back in for next week is not a guarantee.

    Rooting for allen and rodgers.

Don’t want to see Brady for the tenth time since 2000?

    It's not that I don't, it's just that I won't.

But yeah, I like rodgers. He's nearing the end. I'd like to see him get to another

He's always been afraid to take a hit. He's easy to shake up. Couple big pops, hell some normal knock downs even, and he'll be off his game as per usual. He'll get irritated, start running all over the place trying to avoid any contact whatsoever, and start throwing desperate throws to get the ball away. It's his MO. It's well known.

I'll take my Packers over the Bucs and the Bills over the Chiefs.

I read this article and this guy is nuts. Injuries are part of the game. You dont delay games because a guy gets hurt. I hope Mahomes can play as that is definitely a better game but come on. These talking heads are a bunch of ding dongs.

    Team O'Donnell FTW!

Been telling guys for a couple of months, Buffalo is the team they don't want to see in the playoffs. Injury to Mahomes and Edwards-Helaire really hurts the match-up.
