Is Brady great at throwing the football? Sure. If everything goes right and you have an opponent with a weak defense and he has all day in the pocket with several looks, sure. He may even get lucky on a few scrambles, while he runs for his life sometimes but that doesn't change the fact that you can reliably predict his performance based on pressure by a good defense and reliably frustrate his performance by being physical early and often.

Hell, the Packers should be paying bonuses for sacks on him...lol. I wouldn't even sweat a few penalties to up the aggression to get him off his game. May be worth it for a pick-6 and turnovers.

That logic can build the case for either Rodgers or Brady; I switched up your post and it still makes perfect sense.

Don't worry Peter. Aaron Rodgers won't lose his only NFC title game at lambeau Field.

Think Tomlin may be one of the best coaches for Haskins. I didnt think he was going to be a great NFL QB coming out of college, but Gruden and that dysfunctional franchise didn't do him many favors

  • VegasFrankVegasFrank Posts: 18,167 ✭✭✭✭✭

It was Ron Rivera and they turned into a playoff team that hung with Brady's bucs for three and a half quarters. Thomas is the worst coach for this kid. He has no control over anybody. Big Ben, Le'Veon Bell, Antonio Brown, juju Smith Schuster, Chase claypool. They're all punks who run wild. T9mlin has ever controlled any of them. Haskins's career is over, If he actually starts for the Steelers, then this is a ticket to a top five draft pick 12 months from now.

He will be a number 3 QB. Their current number 3 is a free agent so they won't sign him. I like Tomlin as a coach, but he does not do well managing the divas. These days every team has them so it is a major part of the job

  • TheKrakenTheKraken Posts: 2,253 ✭✭✭✭✭

Yes this year, but Gruene drafted him in 19. Agree that he hasn't managed many players well. On the other hand, those players probably wouldn't have had the same production in another environment.

Did you see Booger McFarlands take on him? Pretty accurate I think

The math says otherwise! Six is greater than one in any language. Unfortunately for Rodgers, they don't hand out participation rings/trophies. Results matter.

Going by that logic, we should throw some pads on bradshaw and he could beat the Packers....

I'd call that mental gymnastics, not logic.

I'd say the same about yours brother. That's like betting black because the last three spins came up red. Non sequitur.

Brady won those AFC championship games and super bowls and everything else with a different team, different teammates, different coach, and no more recently than 24 months ago. Now who's playing mental gymnastics?

That said, I'll admit I have had "that feeling" on a crap table before. I know it's purely statistical but it happens. Some rollers are just hot sometimes. Consistently, even with luck, is real, even if probability says otherwise.

Bradshaw has four super bowls. Are you going to suit him up against Rogers? It's back to your logic trail brother, not mine. Bradshaw did it four times. He must be better than the guy that did it once.

I mean seriously. Once Brady won his third super bowl, then there would have never been any logic for him to ever lose another game ever for the rest of his life because he had done it three times, More than anyone active.

I'll go let Doug Peterson and Nick foles and Eli Manning that their super bowls don't count.

I like Tampa Bay based on their defense and the fact they got two starters back this week they weren’t able to go last week. I also think Brady has a way of making the players around him better. I mean he had a crap team last year and still got them to 12 wins. His titles are a testament to his greatness and if it weren’t for same wild as plays against the Giants he could very easily have 2 more.
All I can say is I hope it’s a great game as neither of these guys will be around much longer to watch.

I do it too. Hot rollers are hot rollers.
