Better send some luck to @IndustMechI forgot about our Chicago friends, they have had some recent success along with those long suffering Red Sox fans. The Brew Crew could be in the verge of big things but if you use history as a measuring stick they will come up short.

Just had to make a u turn in the parking lot of a strip club. Moved quick so Life360 wouldn’t alert I had completed a trip. In my drive I pondered a couple things. One being you know how punctuation can make all the difference.
For instance:
Let’s eat,grandma. “ vs “Let’s eat grandma”So can location…
“Who’s candy?” On Halloween or at a movie is one thing. But at a business like that…

My joints can detect an approaching cold front at a distance of approximately 500 miles. Old people must have seemed like wizards before modern science caught up with ancient bursitis in the field of meteorology.

Terrific / Terrifying. Would seem to share the same root origin, but one is to the far side of positive, the other at the opposite end of the spectrum.

Interesting. I wonder if Tony the Tiger knew that original meaning? It's funny how words can change to mean the opposite of what they meant. I've pointed out that disparity regarding the word "Liberal" over the years. It has taken on connotations that are now actually anything but liberal.

Watching football, and when the announcer said 'they brought out the jumbo package' and 3 players were wearing those giant, padded helmets, it became clear why they call it that. 😁

song from my childhood, haven't thought of it in 70+ years.
Go tell Aunt Rhody,
Go tell Aunt Rhody,
Go tell Aunt Rhody
The old gray goose is dead. The one she's been saving,
The one she's been saving,
The one she's been saving
To make a feather bed.The goslings are mourning,
The goslings are mourning,
The goslings are mourning,
Because their mother's dead.The old gander's weeping,
The old gander's weeping,
The old gander's weeping,
Because his wife is dead. She died in the mill pond,
She died in the mill pond,
She died in the mill pond
From standing on her head.Go tell Aunt Rhody,
Go tell Aunt Rhody,
Go tell Aunt Rhody
The old gray goose is dead.source: https://www.lyricsondemand.com/miscellaneouslyrics/childsongslyrics/gotellauntrhodylyrics.html

That song is stuck in my head. How many of youins make up songs to sing around family? I made up songs for bedtime, bathtime, cheese stick puzzle time for the dogs, just whatever. It's not just me, right?

Sorry Chris. But don't worry, it will be replaced all too soon with Christmas carols. They already have afflicted me and are impossible to avoid.

They call them double headers when they play two games in a day, but it's just called a game for one game, never a header or single header. I looked up single header. It's a computer geek term. I looked up single header game. It's a gamer geek computer term. I looked up double header, and it says it's a term from baseball, and that the baseball term probably comes from the old railroading days when two engines were used.
I must be a degenerate to recognize I had to be careful not to say that one railroad word that prompts degenerate replies.
