That’s true, but the way they see it they lose money by selling it as diesel. When it’s broken down to the point of gasoline there are byproducts that are use to make other things.
Kind of like the reason they don’t sell real milk in stores. It’s much more profitable to break it down into cream, butter, cheese, yogurt, etc, and then sell what’s left over as “milk”.
Great point. Wife gets a gallon of raw milk for the same price as store bought milk. With the raw milk she can make 3/4 a pound butter, about a pound of Mozzarella cheese, and 3/4 qourt or little less of weak buttermilk that is great when making bread. If not in bread the dogs and cat will sit in front of the counter with the mixer and they love it. That is why we need two gallons a week, the second is only butter and milk.
I just watched a D bag on a Harley bypassing traffic by driving in the breakdown lane. I am assuming this is OK as Harley's spend most of their time in the breakdown lane....😬

There is a fairly new law in AZ that allows motorcycles to split lanes to get to the front at a red light so they are not at the back of the line where more accidents happen. Never done it, not a problem here, kind of scratched my head when I saw it on the books but there you go. F'n D bags.

Lane split... if it's legal, it's legal. No probs. Driving in a breakdown lane... not legal. DBag move. When he kisses a bumper at 55 he might think twice about doing it again.

By "breakdown lane", do you mean the shoulder on the right?
Lane splitting is not legal in PA as far as I know. At least it wasn't when I used to ride. Even if it was, I wouldn't do it. Too many cagers not expecting a bike coming alongside so close. It seems an accident waiting to happen. Also, I'd never drive/ride on the shoulder. There is too much debris, making it very possible a tire gets damaged, which is much more troublesome on a bike than a car when one gets up to highway speeds again.
Just like any controversial topic today…. I would suggest NOT lumping all motorcycle idiots to a specific brand. The bike doesn’t make the decision to do dumb $h!t

@OutdoorsSmoke_21191 Gonna respectfully decline the invitation, you trying to tell me its not the bike’s fault there's a guy doing donuts in the Waffle House parking lot at 3am? Ok, if you say so.

When I see someone doing something 'normal', you know, like how it was 30 years ago, I say to myself, "Look at that guy, just sitting there (or whatever they're doing) like a psychopath."
It often seems like that; someone doing something that was normal way back when makes you a nutjob today.
Was looking at high rise apartments in San Francisco. Found one for sale at $11M and 4K sqft. All I could think about was, "Which room will be my smoking room on that 53rd floor?"
I just saw an ad for these walk-in bathtubs. It dawned on me that you can't open the door unless the tub is empty, so you'd have to get in, close the door, fill the tub with you in it, and then, when you're done, you'd have to sit in the tub until the water drained and it was empty again. I get the idea of not wanting to slip and fall stepping over a bathtub's wall, lying there all busted up and dying before anybody finds me, but this idea sounds stoopid.
Does anybody remember way back in 2020 when the government paid BILLIONS of our tax dollars for that super-vaccine that totally eradicated Corona viruses?
Trapped in the People's Communist Republic of Massachusetts.
Our US of A was settled east to west so people should generally say “out west" and “back east". Someone in Colorado is incorrect to say, "I'm going out to Wisconsin". The guy in Wisconsin correctly says, "I'm going out to Denver". In Tennessee I might not say "back to Baltimore", just because I've never spent much time there, but I would never say "out" to Baltimore, because that would be a self-centered perception that "out" would be any direction from my location. A good neutral word is "over", works in all directions but feels like it doesn't cover longer distances.
Also, north is top of a map, people should say “up” in reference to traveling any northward direction. Same thing with “down” being the word for going south of wherever you currently are. However, there is also the element of elevation which can throw the previous up-down guidelines out the window. If you are navigating a significant change in elevation, up might be south and down might be north on the map. And on the rivers, you might not believe this but, you say northbound or southbound by the flow and not by the compass. If you're traveling on the Tennessee river in Tennessee, and you are southbound, you'll end up in Kentucky, geographically north of Tennessee.

@Hawks other states then
I don't have problems, just more work to do.
🤷♂️ Other states may not tax like California. BTW, can you pick up a couple of cans on your way back from Maryland?

At what point does grave robbing become archaeology?
If it don’t bother me, it don’t bother me. Just leave me alone.

Then there is the term "down east"
