The plan we Mid-Westerners are trying to concoct is to meet up the Monday after Superbowl, Feb 14th. It's the best, and maybe the only way for us to do the pass picks and puts in person, and then we can get our quilting, knitting, and crocheting done together as well (yes, I know, asking for a pass to be re-routed makes me sound like an old woman).
I get that we want to do passes geographically. It wouldn't help to send it coast to coast, back and forth. But since it's not traveling by horseback and will take 2-3 days in transit wherever it goes, it could go to Dave or Wade after Sherm before it comes here without slowing anything down.

@peter4jc makes sense to me, also helps that my post office doesn't have regional boxes available, so I have to order them.
Delivery timing says 5-7 business days, so this may not be leaving until the week after next.
If your going to go with a Regional box, let me suggest the Regional B1.
