@VegasFrank they come in a lot of shapes and sizes, the plan was to buy the bigger ones and use them as a means to organize specific cigar types etc, but I’m starting to think maybe I jumped the gun and over thought it all. On the bright side, a lot of guys have reached out with their tupperdor builds, and I have a never ending list of ideas to work off of.
My head hurts from reading all of these. Seriously @MrPossum the old adage is true, "it is better to be thought a fool than to open mouth and remove all doubt" I am not saying that your questions make you look foolish. What I am saying is, the best place to learn the answers to these questions and whole lot more is in the VHERF. Log in, light a smoke, listen to the friendly banter, listen for those nuggets of information, occasionally ask a question, and before you know it you will know as much as the rest of us. And no one will ever know you didn't know, besides you will be hanging with the "cool Kids" lol.
@MrPossum
Stick around, read, learn, smoke, enjoy. @Rdp77 said it pretty well way back up there.... it's not an exact science.... just close...... more like rules of thumb or guidelines. "New Guy" questions when you're new..... OK. "New Guy" questions a year or two from now.... Not ok. You'll be fine. What's been your favorite cigar so far?
Yeah I’ve been doing my homework for the most part and it’s only been a couple months, I feel like I’ve learned a lot, my main thing now is figuring out why my cigars are having construction issues, I believe it may be mix of local humidity being high, putting too many new cigars in my humidor at once, and not letting them rest long enough. So far I really enjoy La aromas, San Cristobals and La auroras

@TNBigfoot68 i plan to join the herf one day, just have to wait for things to settle down so I can find some time to join
Decided to go through with it, been maintaining humidity, just waiting to see if the temp comes down
Fits about 50 cigars give or take
The nice thing about that is, when (not if) you outgrow it, you can repurpose it for storing your whatevers.
It’s made for bagels, and I like bagels, subconscious decisions
One thing's for sure, you don't have too many Bovedas in there.
One thing's for sure, there's no room in there so I can't even bomb you.
Peter's right, @MrPossum, what's the big idea? You trying to keep us from sending you stuff? Our stock isn't good enough for ya?
