Note to self; it helps to cut the cigar before lighting it. Toast the foot, check. Break out the soft-flame, and ****, no draw because Mr Brain didn't think to tell Mr Hand to cut it.

Thanks Peter, didn’t even know I needed this thread. I’ll post here for my bi-monthly “take a draw from the scorching ember side of the cigar” mishaps.

Cutting before toasting/lighting is optional, cutting before drawing,...there's the trouble.
Note to self: when you forget to set the alarm at night but then remember during the night when you get up to pee, make sure to confirm the alarm was actually set and that it wasn't just some fool fumbling with the buttons like a drunken sailor. That way you won't wake up 2hrs. late and screw the day in the butt before it even starts.

I should have clarified that at the onset. This isn't supposed to be me talking to y'all about me. It's meant to be a thread for anyone who's had a 'duhhh...' moment, and wants to confess it. I think it'll be fun to poke some fun at ourselves once in a while.

Mine is still in stereo.....Been pretty loud this past week, almost drowning out all the voices I hear. ....Probably because of the head cold I have.

Note to self: I need to check the listings more closely, I thought I was buying a box of single-serving SkinnyPop popcorn but the bags ended up being more family sized. I also bought a microwave popcorn popper that works without butter or oil, but now that I have so much popcorn it'll be a while before I need to use it. I guess 4.4 oz of popcorn by weight is a lot more than I realized, seeing as how they're mostly air.

That's like the time my older sister, maybe 13 at the time, decided she was going to make eclairs. She made her way through making the dough, but couldn't understand why the recipe only yielded 4 eclairs. Some of us now know that the dough poofs up like crazy when baked. She ended up w/ four football-sized monster eclairs. LOL.
Note to self, reading the Caption thread and other's posts on this forum has made me realize that I'm not as witty as I think I am.
