Anyone ever bought a pipe from etsy? I see alot of handmade briars on there that look pretty nice and obviously much cheaper than name brand pipes, granted maybe not as good quality.
I’ve bought several from Etsy. There are a lot of shops that you can find good estate pipes at good prices. There are also some really good lesser known makers like Abb Brown that has a shop on there as well as a website of his own.
Just make sure to pay attention to where it ships from. Some will say they are in the US but when you look closer it will say it ships from Ujustgotscrewedistan

Oxi Clean if they are real dirty. Then the isopropyl alcohol. I just started using Decatur Briar Fresh that I'd forgot I had. It smells like a minty alcohol.
Yeah and I don’t really understand that middle section of the stummel either. Just seems like something else that could go wrong…or did and was repaired.

I bought a Meerschaum tamper on Etsy once, I think a lot of makers and estate sellers migrated from eBay.
