Never use a nubber, generally only smoke to the band.

I use a nubber mostly if I have some damage to the wrapper.

I have juggled my cigar and smoked it to the nub almost every time but didn’t think of a nubber until recently when I found this thread and have used it every cigar since. I like haven’t quite figured out where my point is where the flavor diminishes to the point of putting it out yet but I almost always smoke just a little past that.

If it gets bitter, it gets tossed. If I get past the band and I'm still enjoying it i use my nubber from Rodger.

A good cigar and the open road solve most problems.
