Yeah, takes me back to a road trip with a tower crew to Newnan Georgia, Mt. Vernon, Illinois, and Steven's Point, Wisconsin. The lead tower climber on the job brought a large duffel bag of heavy metal cassette tapes and we started each day with Metallica. We got a flat tire in the rental car in Atlanta and the agency gave us a new car. Since our lead insisted in a cassette tape player, they had to upgrade us to a Olds Eighty Eight to satisfy him , felt kind of strange driving out to the tower site on Georgia mud and dirt roads in that one.
We were in Georgia when the Atlanta Braves lost the world series that year... if they won we would have been in Atlanta partying, I figure, as it turned out we suffered the death stares of the defeated locals in Newnan the next day at the waffle house.
