Temp is finally below 100 tonight and I can finally enjoy a smoke. Diesel Whiskey Row paired with Nikka Coffee Grain Whiskey.

It’s a good cigar. Body is med to full but the flavors are hard to distinguish/ pick up. No major transitions from third to third but builds in body toward the end. Flavors noted were mostly cocoa and coffee with just the slightest hint of any whisky. There was a moment or two of some sweetness of raisins. The burn was good requiring a little touch up about half way. I did a box split with some friends and I kept 8. This was my first one. I’d say it’s worth a try, maybe a fiver but probably not a box. Hot enough here that they cancelled the first day of school.
Been swamped with work this month but did have time before dawn and during the day to smoke a Carillo Cardinal Impact robusto, an Illusione Rothschilde, and a Jas Sum Kral Red Knight lancero. Heading out now to feed the skeeters and smoke a Jaime Garcia Reserva Especial Robusto.13 -
Casa Cuba Flor Fina by A Fuente. Found it at my local B&M. Tobacconist said it’s about 4 years old. No date on the box though. However it definitely has well aged flavors.
