Food never looks like the picture.

Why is it that when you buy something, chips, cookies or what ever, they NEVER look as good as they look on the package.
You open them up and it's like. "WTF is this?"
It looks nothing like the picture.

    This is a close second on my list of food pet peeves. First if virtually every bag or box of something being half empty.

    Along with "toy surprise inside"

    Which brings me to another gripe. 
    Where the hell are the toy surprises anymore??

I think had something to do with choking hazards, lawsuits, and then cutting costs due to research showing kids aren't more likely to want a product based solely on a toy. Marketing a food item to children can be done through various methods today, as opposed to strictly eyes on in person. Our toys were solid objects and we played in this amazing place known as "outside", but kids today are more attuned to digital goods and video games/movies/music.

    I could be wrong, though.

My younger brother made a pretty good living taking those kind of food pictures when he had his studio. Many tricks of the trade were used. He used to say it was a lot easier than having to deal human models.
