If his is anything like my B&D Dustbuster, it’s designed so you can’t replace the battery. The only way I can continue to use mine once the battery went t Its-up on me is to leave it constantly plugged In until I need to use it.

    Planned obsolescence - ain’t it grand...... ?  🙄

    Damned edit thingy won’t let me say t I t s.....

Just about every appliance is made now to have a life span of from 3 to 5 years. It's not your mother's refrigerator anymore!!!!! What a shame.

Listened to Frank Zappa songs... then drifted into listening to Dweezil Zappa for a while before wrapping it up to go home for the day.

I always liked Cosmic Debris.  I suppose the Zappa album I could best tolerate nowadays would be "Shut up and play yer guitar".

    I own zero Zappa albums.

I used to have lots, but now only one, One Size Fits All.  After not playing it for years, I now see it has a cigar being smoked on the cover.  Yay!  Inca Roads has one of the most beautiful guitar solos Zappa ever did.  And Sofa No's. 1&2 are superb; but I do have to admit, the insane nature of Father Frank is a bit more grating on my nerves than it used to be.

Working on reports. Lots of reports. One of my reports got too big to run well in Excel so I split it into two reports.

I think I'll take a break and make some coffee.

    End of report.

It's so muggy here I'm recharging my Bovedas out in the open on my kitchen table.

Plus, I tore something in left shoulder playing pickleball for the first time.  Look it up, it's a great game.  I ran into a chainlink fence and to protect my gorgeous face I raised my arm up and got it jammed up and back.  Now my shoulder seems like it pops out of place and back in.  I'm icing it and think if I'm careful to not use it much it'll be better in a day or two.  I thought about urgent care, but they'll just put it in a sling and I'm too much of a blockhead to keep the sling on, so what's the point?  And now, to use my favorite line ever, "Something like that would've killed an ordinary man."
Heh. Pickleball being played by a picklepuss. Wish I coulda seen that before he ran into the fence.

Sorry to hear you hurt yourself, Peter @peter4jc. Ya gotta watch them sneaky fences, though..... 🤓

Pickleball is replacing golf as the sport of choice among the next generation of old-timers in Green Valley. As another golf course was let go back to nature they are adding 8 new pickleball courts.
