Hey guys, great thread! Really helpful for a newbie like me! Thanks for starting @Derek! Could use your thoughts on what I should stock up on next. Right now, I've got some Oliva: Serie G, Saison, and Serie V Melanio; R&J: Reserve Real, 1875, 1875 Nicaragua (that is surprisingly awesome!), 1875 Reserva, Perdomo Lot 23, Don Pepin Garcia Blue, then some Acid 20s, Acid Def Sea, and Acid Opulence. As you can see, I stick to the brands I know but want to venture out. Any thoughts gents?

But first, we have to find that list of who gets which cigars so the little lady lets us shovel-people take the sticks we want.
I began this discussion on June 7th hoping to somehow accumulate enough cigars to fill a 25-50 stick humidor. I've smoked at at least that amount since then and still have a fully stocked humidor. And I have more on the way. Plus I have a $50 voucher that is redeemable at my local shop on July 1st. I'm now in a position where I'm going to run out of room. I now need advice on what my next steps (for storage) should be. Please help me complete the process steps below 😬:

@Derek At the rate you are going buy a 150 quart marine cooler and turn it into a coolidor. Or buy a nice big cabinet humidor. Having a couple 150 quart coolers is completely normal on here LOL

Some people use weather tight gasketed plastic crates instead of coolers, especially when the Wife doesn't approve of having coolers in the house. You can put them on the closet or stack them in your basement. Here's one example
On second thought... Has anyone had success reclaiming old furniture and converting to a humidor? I could probably convince her to give either of the pieces below to my new addiction.

4 is buy a cooler
5 is buy boxes because they're half-off and you read a couple good reviews online, and end up with hundreds of cigars you don't actually like.

I blew though #s 1 - 4 in less than a week....I'm holding at #8.....Next stop is the cigar 12 step program.

My wife is wanting to remove the cabinet in the picture below and have a bar built into the recessed area. Maybe I'll negotiate a bar/humidor.

I was thinking it would be possible to line the cabinet walls with insulation and cedar planks
