@Usaf06 Nick, are you familiar with every old song these guys are listing? 'Cause I don't even know ANY songs by Tool or some of the other newer artists. I googled a Tool song didn't remember ever hearing it. I kind of like it but just not familiar to me at all. So, I'm curious if you are unfamiliar with any of the older choices so far.

Really shows the age of a lot of us. I like a wide range of music but some of the songs/groups that have been mentioned I dont have a clue. Very interesting.

There are a couple I haven't heard of but not many. There are several I dont care for that are listed also. I'm not a big Ozzy fan. There is so many genre's of rock music that cover many decades. I appreciate most of them. I'm a huge Johnny Cash fan and would include him in the rock genre as well. I could list several of his songs here too. I'm trying to limit my input since I asked for everyone else's.

I tried to limit myself to stuff that came out a minimum of 10 years ago because of this. Things that are in my top 100 right now might not survive the test of time, which should be important in a list like this. It's interesting to think about, why did song A hold up, but song B was only good for 6 months, even though both songs got played all the time by me when they came out?
