I sell them in bulk, only a few places in the whole country that process walnuts.
Hammons Hullers in Stockton, MO is where mine go, who maybe the largest buyer, about 25 million pounds per year.Don't let the wife know what you spend on guns, ammo or cigars.

I am appalled that you would question the sincerity of my “awesome”.
If it don’t bother me, it don’t bother me. Just leave me alone.

Great contest, Dave.
Inquiring minds want to know what this harvest process entails. Do tell, please.

Pretty simple on my end. I have a roller (Nut Wizard) that you pass over the nuts to gather them. Dump into a 5gallon bucket, then dump them into barrels in the back of the truck. Then to the huller, who bags them into 50 lb, who in turn hauls them to the processor.
Takes about three rollers to fill bucket and 12-16 buckets to fill a barrel depending on the size of nuts.Don't let the wife know what you spend on guns, ammo or cigars.

Nut wizard...awesome

Interesting. I have 3 or 4 black walnut trees, but it's such a pain to hull them that I usually just leave them for the squirrel.

A squirrel hid thousands of walnuts under the hood of a man’s truck. It wasn’t the first time.
Bill Fischer of Fargo, N.D., said every two years, a squirrel hides walnuts under his truck's hood. This year, the furry creature set a record: 42 gallons.6 -
