Some of the pellets in one of my buckets got wet so I'm separating the good pellets out to save them while smoking a cigar and spatchcocking a chicken.
I may have to re-think these handy gasketed screw-off lids for my 5 gallon buckets.

Delivery of my 6 cylinder GT cruiser was delayed by 3 weeks. So I canceled the damn order and I'm now getting a V8 on Monday instead.

I just drove 40 minutes 1 way to a customer's house he said his thermostat sent him a message furnace has been running for over 24 hours straight....we installed it about a year ago along with a boiler. I got there furnace was in fact running and it was cold. I looked over the obvious stuff pulled previous fault codes which there were zero. Started walking around checking registers to make sure we had hot air coming out got to his French doors and there it was the left door was wide open. The equipment we sell is good but not good enough to keep up with -20 or whatever we hit last night.

Just discovered a blocked drain in my shop. Flushed the toilet and it bubbled right up through the drain. Sewage is gross.

I've been making my coffee in a french press every morning for decades. This time around, however, instead of adding the ground coffee to the press pot beaker, I dumped them in my coffee mug. Happily, I recognized my mistake before adding the hot water; sadly, this was the preparation of my second cup, so low-caffeine blood/brain levels can't be assumed.

Today so far at work I welded two pins back in place on a net rack after the building engineers welds failed. I glued a hose with a hole in it using water activated glue and taped it after the building engineer just put tape over it, and I fixed a leaking water fountain after the building engineer failed to do so. I am not going to say anything and see if he tries to take credit for it. I also made all of my resurfaces so far, and completed my desk work. I am really starting to wonder what he does all day. For time reference I have been here for five hours to this point.

I always wondered what the State engineers did when they weren't riding around in their trucks. I finally found out. They played dominos in their trailer.

While watching the Olympic down hill My thoughts ran back to the time I spent two winters skiing Aspen Mountain years ago. I remember going down hill what I thought was fast and a big shadow ran over me. I heard a swish and felt a wind over my back and looked up to see some dude with great big skis jumping right over me. This dude landed out front and was gone. I found later that the Italian downhill ski team was training that day.

Today is the primary election for MKE mayor, so I walked to my new polling place, the fire station a few blocks away. After performing my civic duty I hiked another several blocks to the grocery store and bought some bananas. While at the fire station I saw something I'd never seen before; a fireman sliding down the fire pole. Apparently, he just wanted to have fun and mingle with us voters. It was cool.
