Bill Mahr has grown a little bit since he became a celebrity. Like many liberals, he's seen what the world is really like and become more conservative. Learned to think instead of feeling his way through life. I'm finally able to sit through some of his monologs, not cringing at the stupid **** he used to spout off.

A local legend in my hometown passed away recently. James Wolfe Jr. AKA Super Wolf. I met him a few times and he had a magnetic personality. He was married to the talented Queen of Blues “Denise LaSalle”. He was a major entrepreneur in the radio business in the area. He was inducted into the TN Radio Hall of Fame in 2018. And way back in 1980, during the infancy of rap music, he had a 9 & 1/2 minute rap single on the Sugar Hill label.

For Sengee, trying to provide a better life for her three children means leaving them with her sister in the Mongolian capital of Ulaanbaatar as she lives out of her coal truck. Far from home, she faces the many hazards, heartbreaks and boredoms of life on the road – difficulties that were exacerbated by the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic. Although a portrait of a single life, Choijoovanchig’s panoramic depiction of coal transport across the Gobi alludes to the personal and environmental tolls of the region’s recent economic transformation.
