Rubbed out and packed some Paradoxical from @Stubble to try out in my WDC French Briar Bakelite pipe, TYVM Steve. I guess the theme today is Burley. Cob in the background for scale, this WDC is a small pipe but the chamber is large for a pipe this size.

nose warmer

I've always avoided nose warmers because I don't like smoke to get into my face, but I'm enjoying this one.
The smokes have gone from good to better, to great from SWR, Timeless, and then Paradoxical. The burley and rustica in Paradoxical is giving a lot of body and flavor.

Plum Pudding in a Meer sounds like a good time, Steve.
I packed my travel pipe kit in my backpack today for the ride home only to find that the little humidity disk I put in with the Gawith & Hoggarth 1792 Flake went overboard and the flakes were too moist to smoke. I grabbed some Anomalous and my Todd Barnard BST pipe to smoke in the back yard when I got home only to notice my package of Mac Baren's Stockton Spun Cut had come in so I'm smoking that ROTT. (Right off the Truck) The DFK center is very noticeable in a good way, I'm liking this much better than their Vanilla Roll Cake which is a bit too cloyingly sweet while this is dark and strong. It didn't need any dry time, right out of the tin.

I left the 1792 in a bowl overnight and packed it up in the morning. After work today before driving home I went to load my RNA Treasures car pipe and it was still too moist. Good thing I brought a tin of Stockton with me. I loaded up the pipe with seven coins and started on my way home. (It's a big pipe) I'm enjoying the interplay of light Virginia surrounding the unsweetened cavendished Dark Fired Kentucky center. This is not a sweet blend, but it's good.

Excellent smoke and smoker! ^

Did the smoke stick to the roof of your mouth?

LOL, no.
Samuel Gawith 1792 Flake in my cheap RNA Treasures car pipe on the way home, finishing up in the garage. This is a thick smoke that lingers even longer than the Wilke Peanut Butter and has some real strength.

Hey, you gonna eat the rest of that corndog?5 -
That sounds good, Steve. I love the plateau on that pipe. Working from home today but the heat will keep me from smoking in the garage for a bit. (missed my chance this morning dragging in the fans and portable A/C)

I got in some tobacco from Ken Byron Ventures today so I decided to try out B. Frog's Peaty Hunt in my William Demuth Company (WDC) Circa 1934 Bing Billiard. It's a boozy blend and Jiminks recommended a small bowl which informed my choice of pipes.

Going to relax this morning while watering the garder, before it gets too hot to sit outside.
