Steve that’s a sturdy good looking meerschaum.Thanks. IMP Meerschaum. Came with a case and 2 stems, the one you see and a churchwarden stem as well.
I have a couple Stanwell HCA's that also have 2 stems. I thought I'd use the churchwardens more than I do, but I don't. Most of the time when I'm smoking a pipe I take a few puffs, set it down and do something for awhile, then back to it. With the longer stems it seems that I just can't help but smack them around, so I reserve those for when I know I'm going to be sitting still for some time and steadily smoking.

Leave the cover off for a few years then throw it away.Good thinking, but the whole blame cabinet would smell that way. I guess I could break up some sticks of sandalwood incense in there, too.

I don't usually smoke a pipe within 8 - 10 hours of my last pipeful, but I'm making an exception today. Washed my hands multiple times and damned if they don't still smell of grape fizzy. Hope the legend about Meer's not ghosting proves to be true.
Any grape fizzy fans out there? Offer includes some >10yr old Gurkhas, they could be yours for the asking.
