Stupid pipe **** that pops into my head.

I don't mind filter pipes but it would be nice if they weren't pre-installed.

Anybody know what the difference is between a mild, medium and full English blend is?

Yeah, thanks, Rusty. Googled and found out the BBQ smell is the latakia. Plum pudding is just a stronger English blend than sutliff medium English.

Those pipes may work with flake tobacco which has been pressed and burns longer in the same space.

I misspoke, the pipe in the bottom picture has a decent sized bowl. Do all billiards have tiny bowls?

I'll have to check out that kind of tobacco, Chris.

Billiards come in all sizes. Flake can be harder to smoke so start small.

What’s the deal with pricing on Navy blends lately? It seems like the standards such as Escudo and Peterson Navy Rolls have jumped quite a bit more than other blends have.

PAS has struck again. Have a Stanwell coming Monday. Kept going back to that website to look at it. Had to pull the trigger. I'm going to have to take a part time job to pay for pipes.

Shawn, if you'll just go ahead and buy this one I can stop looking at it on SP Estates

Nording Hand Made, unsmoked...only $296...I don't need another pipe...

Is that on smokingpipes? Didn't see it. Might have been sold.

Appears to be gone now. You dodged a bullet. Don't worry though, they have a new Dunhill bent billiard you might be interested in.....

Saw an interesting pipe (Rossi) on another site. The bowl is .92" wide by 1.19" deep. Wonder how that would smoke.

Been checking out different pipe sites and have been reading the specs. Yup, billiards come in many sizes. Actually, I seem to like that the billiards can be had in larger, deeper chambers than a lot of other shapes. I seems to be drawn to bent pipes over straight or half-bent pipes. Smooth over rusticated or sandblasted. Not a fan of small chambers. I'll be sticking to larger chambered bent pipes mostly. Was checking out a few Savinellis. The bent billiards with the king size bowls look nice.

I just wish all pipe sellers would list dimensions in both English and metric.
