Cleaning out 40 years of accumulated sh it from my office. Found an open box of Perdomo La Tradicion Limited Golf Edition. From my research, looks like produced around 2003-2006. I was not smoking cigars at that time. (Started in 2012) Would smoke one around holidays, etc. They’ve been stored without any humidification, probably for at least 15 years or longer! Lit one up, smoked like a champ! Excellent cigar! @VegasFrank Can you ask scotch and smoke if he has any info on them? Lol
While reaching under my driver's seat I found an unopened 750ml bottle of Jameson Black Barrel. My favorite whiskey! Don't know how in hell I could have bought one and forgot to bring it into the house and drink it. The funny part is, last week I bought a bottle and brought it upstairs and drank 2/3 of it. If the bottle wasn't still sitting on my bar I would have thought this was that bottle and I'm losing my mind. Either way, it's like getting a free bottle of whiskey.

Pulled off a nice surprise for my wife’s birthday…got my son and my oldest daughter to cali. Also, got my old man here too for my youngest daughter’s graduation party this weekend. She also has no idea her siblings are here. This will be the first time our family has been together in three years. I will be replicating a family photo from 3 years ago when we were all together. My wife and I hearts are full. Pictures pending this weekend.

Laying bed Wen night almost asleep, thought I heard water running somewhere in the house....

Side note; Crawlspaces are not a fat mans friend.
I should say in. After I inspected in person the 2nd set was obviously a rush job to meet the holiday weekend. There will be some changes like the legs need to be the same height probably 12" above the deck and not enough cleats. But atleast they are both good enough to use.

Upgraded my slow laptop to Windows 11 yesterday. It took all day, but I didn't have any issues except that I found out that Microsoft has discontinued the official support for Android apps on Windows 11 which is a bit of a bummer. There's workarounds, however. Performance may be a bit better under Windows 11, not sure.
To be clear, I don't have a faster laptop, just this slow one.

Sitting on my back porch, I can hear the jets and planes from the Air.Show at Harrisburg Int'l. Airport, but it's mostly cloudy, and I can't see much of anything. I think I did see a P-51 Mustang making a turn about a half mile from me. The Blue Angels fly tomorrow afternoon, and we are going to a neighboring farm that's a bit closer, with fewer trees, so hopefully the skies clear and we can see them.

I assume since you just installed 11, it is the latest version, 24H2. When I upgraded to 11 some time ago, it was version 23H2, and now when Windows tries to update itself to 24H2, the install hangs and I have to use a restore point to have a functional computer. My particular ASUS computer is one of three builds that, for some reason, the BIOS cannot handle 24H2, and when I try to update the BIOS with a compatible version, it doesn't take.

Just because you found it does not mean you are NOT losing your mind.

Looking good Jim! Seems like a nice setting, too.

A good cigar and whiskey solve most problems.
Chaperoning 8th graders to the Tech Museum today. Wish me luck.

Ouch, yes it was upgraded to the latest, 24H2. It's a Lenovo Ideapad 3.
