Let the thick cut Challah or Brioche slices sit out overnight so they dry out a bit. We like to add 1 teaspoon mexican vanilla, orange zest, and about a tablespoon of this stuff to the batter...

...or you can add honey to the batter too.

If you have time, sprinkle a bit of sugar over the toast and brulee it before serving.

Hey, you gonna eat the rest of that corndog?

When I worked in a breakfast kitchen, I always put a splash of orange juice in the eggwash. No one ever complained.

Made some great french toast this morning with sausage, OJ, and coffee. I did add a splash of OJ and also a bit of homemade marmalade made from our tangerines, it did take it to the next level.

    Thanks, Toddington.

    Pork?

Birria is a type of flavorful meat stew from Mexico, traditionally made with goat but also made with beef, lamb, mutton, or chicken.

Don't let the wife know what you spend on guns, ammo or cigars.
