Just had a package delivered from Anchorage, that shipped Monday. Didn't get lost or make random trip KC to St Louis to KC etc.

It was 20 minutes from my house 2 days ago. Guess I shouldve gotten the fast shipping option.

Mert a guy at the local lounge that works nights sorting mail. I held my tongue.

I have a package, shipped 11 days ago only going from Illinois to Mo. It's been 4 days since the update that it left KC, again.

December is the month the PO is overwhelmed with Amazon packages and folks sending gifts to far-flung family members. "expect delays"

I bought cigars online during December once. It’s the most frustrating wait. I’ll never do that again. Sticking with local stores.

My shipment arrived, 425 miles and only took from Nov. 22 to Dec 10th. Pony Express anyone.

Either that, or the PO found out you're far-right, gun-loving, commie-hating Republican.

Worth the $10 to not drive into Boston. I **** hate city traffic.

There is really no good time to go into Boston anymore and after all that, you would pay at least $10 to park. Probably more like $20+.

Definitely worth the cost of the two day shipping expenses

My last three packages showed up two business days earlier than the initial delivery date I received, including Christmas week. Are they just pushing the initial date out a bit longer and getting it here in the same time frame as before? I don't think so but I haven't really paid attention. I'll have to watch closer and give credit if any is due.

same here, promised in 5 days, shipped one day, arrived second day, from CA to MA, ground shipping. Maybe geared up for the pre- and post- holiday rush but more people shipped early?

Yeah, two different places. A distribution center which just processes mail to get it in the right direction, and a regional post office that delivers and sends packages on to the smaller post offices or next regional in line. The distribution centers are huge and things get scanned on arrival and then again when they reach the hub they’re supposed to leave from.
