    So one doesn't even need to be a student to play college football any longer. With NIL, essentially a professional. Something needs to change.

    Seems like it. He has to take two electives during the semester to be on the roster, as I found out after I posted this. Probably took gym, and advanced gym.

    If your coach can fine you for infractions, you are no longer a "student" athlete. This should end any arguments about it.
