Ok, finishing up the Burley quest. Twofer tonight. Threefer, actually but we'll get there.
In the usual cob:
Began with the Burley Plug Cut, BPC. Have to say, did not care for this one. Soapy floral flavor. Say it five times, fast.
Moved to Blend 52. Was a excited for the red Virginias but just found it to be harsh and hot. Also, while it was quite dry, it still had a sticky quality to it. What'd you do to that one Randy?

Just recorded package and there’s allot going on here and it’s gonna take me awhile to get through it. Not sure if I’m supposed to sample the bags that are still sealed or if they’re for somebody specific (one of them is obvious). I did snag one of those pipes and am smoking a bowel of 333. It’s pretty good!

I'm ahead at work and had time to squeeze in a bowl of British. My favorite I've had so far, something about it reminds me of Christmas time. I wasn't able to keep it lit quite as well and definitely got a little tongue bite from it though. I think I'll set the pipe down for the rest of the day.

lol, no need to add to it, I'm mostly afraid that there will be something that I like in the pass and I'll end up getting more tobacco. I think I have roughly 100 different blends on hand now. Someone will likely inherit some when I'm gone, and none of those likely to inherit have any appreciation for quality tobacco. Thanks for the heads up.

Been putting off an order with them for a while.....Glad I did....It just got a little bigger.3 -
Finally had a minute to open the box today. To say the least, WOW!
So, here's what I'm going to do;
I took out 4 of the cigars that I'd never tried before, and replaced them with what I hope are suitable
replacements.Any of the pipe tobaccos that I already have in stock I simply will pass along untouched.
Of the tobacco that I want to try I have packed each in a bowl and took a photo of the tobacco and the pipe it's in.
I did not try any of the English sampler, because the largest part of my tobacco cellar consists of English and Balkan blends and my reason for joining the pass is to try things that I'm not familiar with.
It was very tempting to just stick all the Plague Bringer in my pocket and pretend that it never happened. I did not, however. I did pack 2 bowls of it, because I've always wanted to try it and may never get the chance again. Same goes for the Esoterica St. Ives.
Now, I'm going to look and see who gets this next, as I'm planning to move to another address within the next few weeks, so I can send this along without it getting lost in all the other boxes around here.
