I roasted three coffees on Monday the 11th from Uganda, Ethiopia, and Peru. The coffees from Africa were naturally processed and the coffee from Peru is a washed coffee. This morning I used up the last of the three coffees that I roasted on April 7th, using a few grams of the freshly roasted coffees from Africa to brew my pot this morning.

I've been enjoying blending my coffee origins together lately, depending on how these coffees turn out I may brew them as single origin or continue to blend them together. I've also cut back on my coffee consumption, down to about 200 ml of coffee a day going into my upcoming trip to Japan. I'm banking on being able to avoid any withdrawal migraines while traveling, though I'm sure I'll be enjoying coffee over there. My daughter has been brewing in a moka pot lately and there are some highly rated coffee shops in Tokyo that we'll probably visit, though the pictures of the drinks I see have a lot of milk and other things added that I don't really care too much about. I could cut back on roasting, but I like having three coffees and also feel like if I'm going to fire up and pre-heat the roaster for 20+ minutes that I should do multiple back-to-back roasts for efficiency sake, even though I do power my coffee roaster from a 59 pound battery bank that I recharge using solar panels in the back yard.

Near that your battery bank can handle the load, my smaller roaster draws 1300 watts. Yesterday I read that Ford is going to repurpose all the extra battery's in stock due to the unexpected drop in demand for electric vehicles. Maybe battery banks will drop in price now. (Not counting on it, rarely do cost of goods decrease.)

Yeah, it's rated at 2419Wh and 2200W/4400W Surge and I can comfortably roast three batches with my Bullet with it including the long pre-heat and the cool down. I have another, smaller, lighter battery bank that I take camping, mostly for just keeping our phones charged.
