I had a couple of Yellow Jacket nests in the back yard. I know where they are and leave them alone because we need all the pollinators we can get. I mowed this afternoon and found that the bear is back and he dug up and ate the nests. That bear also tor up my fence in two places. My neighbor a quarter mile down the road had the same bear on his porch going after his bird feeders.
When i climb the hill to my studio in the dark at 4:30 I carry my G23. I'd like to buy this bear a plane ticket and send him to see Peter or Edward.4 -
A bear rug in my living room would improve the acoustics.

Went to our favorite winery (Grandview Winery) for the last time today, for Cigar Night.

Supposed to be discharged this morning but the surgeon said no.2 to 3 more days of ivs and no work for another 4 weeks. Sucks but better than alternatives. It was a close call. Thanks for your and the wild and crazy crew's care.

This fan sits in a window at the top of the stairs leading up to my cigar room. It sucks air in and blows the smoke out of the window in the room. I've been reading for a while now that putting a shroud on a box fan will increase its airflow and reduce the noise it makes by preventing the turbulence in the corners - round spinning blades in a square box; the air wants to circle back around to get sucked through again, is how I'd put it. I chose to use four pieces, rather than find one big piece and cut a hole in it. We'll see how it works this afternoon when I get lit.
