Yeah, that blue oval is just too hard to overcome sometimes. At least the newer models have heated tailgates so your hands don’t get cold while pushing them.

Had a free value slam at Denny's for my birthday reward. They wouldn't combine the AARP 15% discount, next time I'll have to have them split the bill.We then went shopping and came back to break down the meat into individual packaging. I found a tip on Instagram about using canning jar tongs to hold the bag open, that tip works well.

I had my Wife make me a sandwich with cinnamon apple rings and olives. She reminded me that we have an olive spoon.

You don’t suck the air out of your Ziploc‘s???
I think I need a demonstration.
Stick a straw in the baggie, Ziploc it all the way tight to the straw, suck all the air out and slip the straw out as you close the Ziploc. Bada bing bada boom. 🤔😘
Just fill the sink up with water and dunk it till you get to the top of the bag and zip it shut. Y'all are doing too much.
Damn coastie. What if my fingers get wet?

This just came out of my food processor. So sorry, I'm not going to say any more about it: I don't want anyone to get the wrong impression.

So close to being done. The machine shop did a good job on the heads. The engineers knew what they were doing as it’s been very easy to work on. Guessing that’s cause they knew they’d be getting fixed all the time. (That’s right fawker, I beat ya to it!) luckily the top of the block checked out as flat with a machinist straight edge and feeler gauge. Didn’t find anywhere a .001 gauge would fit as more than good to install.
So far:
New timing set and gaskets.
New water pump and gaskets.
New gaskets for the top end.
Exhaust manifold gaskets.
Thermostat and spark plugs are in as well.
Plan on finishing it up this evening after work.

Much closer tonight. Even with a few witnesses on vHerf to a snapped bolt that’ll be staying there until tomorrow. Pressed on anyway.

Awesome numbers, George. That's roughly 3X what a stock shovel head made. We'll say prayers for your clutch.

Swallow-tailed kites are nesting on Cape Cod for the first time
An adult swallow-tailed kite offers its baby food - a baby bird the raptor has more than likely swiped from another species' nest. The event was witnessed by birder Peter Trimble and proves that the raptors are raising their young on Cape Cod
