Another days pick. I take any extra down to a local food bank.

Edward, I have been growing French Emerite "haricot verts" pole beans for years. They only take about five minutes of simmering to al dente. The harder I pick them the more they produce.

First pick of tomatoes today.

It is a wonderful time of the year. We have been busy filling the freezer with tomato sauce (a slow cooker makes it so much easier, no stirring to cook it down), dehydrator filled multiple times with sliced summer squash, jars of dill pickles 🥒, it has been a bountiful growing season with very little insect problems.

Now you have a smoke shack when it's cold.
