The words have all been spoken.

RBeckomRBeckom Posts: 2,191 ✭✭✭

If all the words have formerly been spoken,

then what remains to be said?

All have indeed been uttered.

So why even venture to speak?

But then..........

Why sit in silence when so much needs to be stated?

So then..........

Let the words roll forward strongly from our thoughts!

Imagination rules so embrace the inevitable..........

Life..........

To each generation we impart the knowledge that we have gained.

Therefore we must guard just what knowledge that we impart.

Shame it seems to be going in the opposite direction anymore.

In time all is revealed to those who have eyes.

But do the eyes perceive what is real?

We have a habit of seeing what we wish to see........

Not always what is actually perceived, except then, what is only true in our minds.

    I awoke to reality once........

I did not like what I saw........

    I closed my eyes again!

      The possibilities are indeed endless......

Just as the endlessness of possibilities......

    A thought is a possibility.....

    Are our thoughts therefore endless?

    Or.....

Are we  as endless as our possibilities?

Inevitably, then somewhat sadly I must confess, we are not impossible endless.....

The eyes see all but comprehend nothing.
They reflect the soul but share only mysteries.
The mysteries of A life already lived.

From these few words then we can assume many things about the man with the dead eyes.
Stoic and stolily he faced the world.
Impassive yet with just a faint hint of contradiction, that was often very misleading, he struggled through his daily walk.
    A life of troubles...
    A life of woes...

     Thus was his.

A lad slowly walked down the street looking for amusement wherever it could be found. There seemed to be nothing of interest to such a young and impressionable mind.
Only boredom and restlesnessness met the young man to be. A boredom seldom understood by anyone over the age of accountability.
     The age of manhood.
The age of which we are held to account for our actions.
Still the lad walked forth and searchd for any amusement he could possibly find. Mischievousness really, nothing more or less than An end to the monotony, of a boring day.
Then as if on cue A thing began to materialize slowy within the parementers of his peripheral vison. Minor perhaps but with the stark reality of A nightmare nontheless.
A thing mighty into the very core of it's nature.
     A thing of fright.
Still the day was moving foward as usual with just this one thing the only out of the ordinary. Slowly and with painstaking impassiveness to all that we hold real the thing
began to take on A form. A form of undiamension. Of outherworldlyness. As the foggyness of the extremeties came into view it became quite clear tha the mind of the boy,
who stood transfixed in fear, was not able to process the multitude of informantion of which it was currently being bombarded with. Information that just did not add up.
Not in a mind so young.
A mind yet undamaged by the voriosities of life.
The mind of the uncorrupted youth long before age and experiance had done it's irrepariable damage.

... I find by sad Experience how the Towns and Streets are filled with lewd wicked Children, and many Children as they have played about the Streets have been heard to curse and swear and call one another Nick-names, and it would grieve ones Heart to hear what bawdy and filthy Communications proceeds from the Mouths of such...

The excursions of the mind are of course reality of life as we live.

     Smile and live happy.

     Frown and live sad.

     Simple and yet so complex.

    I started the day refreshed.
Then life forced it's reality heavily upon my weary shoulders.
Tired now I fear I must rest within the confines of my increasingly small world.

    Rest eludes me.....
    Perhaps on the morrow......

If old is now the new.

Then new must be of the old.

    So...........

I must therefore pass along the old to be as if current.

    Or currently of old?

    I digress.

    To the old then.

A special report on the breaking news occurring in a small town located in North West Georgia as of this time.

A new law was passed today in a small country town. A law that proved that left to they're on morality, human nature always shows it's horrible underbelly.

It's vicious thirst for total control of it's brethren.

The law, which was slated to protect the citizens, the good people if you will, backfired almost as soon as it was instated.

You see this particular law actually made it illegal for any adult living within the city limits of the town of Crazyton, Georgia to be caught not carrying a firearm. About the time the law was passed there was a total breakdown of society and it's normal status quo. People that were morally held back by the laws and statute's of the past suddenly found themselves running rampant and forgoing any responsible behaviours. Guns In Every Hand, as the new and controversial law was named, quickly proved to be a complete nightmare. A true breakdown of society.

    Burglary: through the roof.

    Homicide: an hourly occurrence.

    Robberies: almost constant.

Folks in all my years spent as a news reporter I have never even come close to seeing such a horrendous misuse of authority as was perpetuated on the simple town people of Crazyton. Several people were arrested as the crime wave started but then chaos took hold and anarchy, total anarchy, began to run rampant and the police were pushed back to headquarters where they were forced into a self defense situation. Being rendered ineffective, several of the officers actually joined forces with the mob mentality and took the rest of the surviving officers hostage with demands of cash from the local banks for they're safe release.

Not even in my worst nightmares did I ever expect to see what I have bore witness to today. I actually fear for my own safety and the safety of my cameraman.

As of this reporting the Army, which was called in by the Governor, has yet to make an appearance.

Hopefully soon, very soon, they will arrive and restore a somewhat normal standard of living to this small community. The real fear is that night will fall before Marshall Law can be instated to protect everyone including people living outside the city limits as the violence seems to be spreading into the outlying suburbs.

We can only hope as darkness seems to be drawing near...............

    Like.
    Dislike.
    Read.
    Ignore.

Truly we all have the right to express ourselves in a way suited to our unique styles.

Or so i've read in history class.

Perhaps one day we will all achieve harmony with one another.

Until then we must strive to accept what we cannot understand.

I accept all as they are.

    What about you?

Warm was the water as I sat in the tub.

    Suddenly bubbles started to appear.

What is this I exclaimed in horror!

What form of witchcraft is afoot?

    What is to be done?

    Suddenly more bubbles appear.

I jump from the tub as the bubbles stop.

I am shocked by this strangeness.

Disturbed am I as I start to fart.

All is calm in the tub.

    Should I go back in?

As soon as I am submerged in the warm water once again........

    The bubbles start!

Out of the tub quick as A flash!

Never will I venture into water.

I shall remain wash free for the rest of my life!

Beware the bubbles, never venture forth into the tub lest you be befouled by the stench of the noxious bubbles!

    Stand warned!

    The bubbles...........

I once saw, through a moment of clairvoyant clarity, the ways of man as they actually are.
Brutality seemed to run rampant within our civilizations.
    All of them.
The vision heralded a time of chaos to come.
    Yet to be.
    Though not so distant.
As the window of the clarity quickly closed, I was troubled.
Why show what cannot be changed?
Years later I understood the reason for the vision.
    A warning to us all!
Too late did I have this Epiphany.
Now old, I cannot change the past and I fear that the time of action has passed.
What is to become of us?
I dread the outcome of years of ignorance.
    The years of unchanging impudence.
    The years we have wasted.
    I dread tomorrow.
Not so much for what we are.
More so for what we could have been!

Out of the window A snake I did spy.
    To catch or not?
To catch is to live as to not is for it to die.
I choose quickly for it, I gave it life.
I had the blessing of all, even my wife.
In the truck I placed the snake.
I held to it tightly for all of our sake.
Down the road with the snake did we go.
To A hardware house we knew called Buy Low.
Into the store I went with my snake.
All the people inside tried to escape.
Only Chris did not run screaming from my gag.
The only to help as I placed the snake in A bag.
Mark was ashiver with fright from my snake.
Screaming and threatening his attitude was hate.
He related A story of how he had killed one.
A bazooka was used in place of A gun.
Into the wall he blew A great hole.
With the destruction of all he had achieved his goal.
A poor snake was certainly dead.
He seemed to take great pride in the words that he said.
I tried to explain how snakes are our friends.
They deserve to live they're lives not to be destroyed by frightened little men.
Back in the truck I placed the snake in A bag.
A little while later my wife started to nag.
Is there enough air in the bag for the snake to live?
I opened the bag for more air to give.
    Wait...........
    No snake..........
    I lifted the bag.
No weight, backfired had my gag!
Free was the snake out of the sack.
Chewed through the bag and slithered to the back.
Search and search but no luck the snake was out of sight.
The snake was lost to all as I searched with my might.
Even at home I found the snake was hard to find.
A friend came to help, he had A like mind.
Of snakes he is a great friend, he would save one.
Or if he had his way they would be saved by the ton.
Finally the snake moved, of it he did spy.
Caught rather swiftly Justin gave out A sigh.
Into the house was brought this slithering beast.
No one feared it not even the least.
Even A child was soon touching it's head.
All wished it long life as it was released under the shed.
    Snakes are our friends.
    Learn and teach.
