PRAYER REQUEST THREAD

Your family is in my thoughts and prayers. I was in your position 10 years ago and know how difficult it is.Chemnitz:UPDATE: (also posted in TPB thread)
As some of you are aware, I am in Australia for a few weeks visiting my mum who has terminal cancer. It has been a dream of mine for a while to be able to take my children back to Australia. Getting to see Grandma in the limited time we have made me decide to just do it. We all arrived last week and are here for a couple more. My mum is in great spirits, naturally, seeing all the family, but I can tell that she is weaker and more frail. We are taking care of her, going through things in the house, and making other preparations that one normally does not want to talk about. But it has to be done and mum is being a trooper. She has strong faith in Christ and is looking forward to the heavenly mansion. I truly appreciate all of the support and kind words from you my brothers on this forum

Posting here to ask for prayer for the family of a friend and fellow pastor who died suddenly at the age of 59. He leaves behind a wife (who is disabled) and four kids who are now facing serious financial struggles. Not posting this to solicit donations, but the details on this GoFundMe page give more of a picture of what they are facing.

As someone who now works in the insurance industry, it breaks my heart to see a situation like this, which could have been so different with something as simple as a life insurance policy. If you don't have decent life insurance, please look into it. And please keep this family in your prayers.

Bump, because I think a thread like this needs good visibility."Cooking isn't about struggling; It's about pleasure. It's like sǝx, with a wider variety of sauces."

We could really use some prayers for my niece Emma, she is in the ER again tonight, probably complications from her kidney which has a narrow ureter and has consequently suffered infections and other complications. We're waiting to hear the latest tonight.Join us on Zoom vHerf (Meeting # 2619860114 Password vHerf2020 )0

Prayers in route. Kidney problems are extremely painful0

Prayers and good thoughts headed out...
Edit: not to make light of the situation but I just recalled that one of my brothers had a somewhat similar problem and his urologist solved it with a procedure similar to the ol' 'roto-rooter' routine except this one was done with a green laser and it didn't produce the after-effects usually related to the roto-rooter. Has anyone asked Emma's doctor about something like that?2 -
