Turning over your cigars?

I'm fairly good about rotating my sticks, though not like I should. But for some reason I just don't or can't turn my sticks. Even though I know I should I just like having my bands pointed up. Anybody else have this problem?

I do the same thing Ricky, it's the OCD that's gotta have em looking a certain way when I open the wineador and cooler.

I'm bad enough that I organize everything by brand, label, similarity of bands etc... its a disease but one I aint looking to cure haha

I too rotate my sticks; I give each cigar a 1/36th turn each day, and when the bands are facing up I know that those are the ones that are ready to smoke.

damn Peter, you have scattered your beans, you would have 300 cigars a day with labels facing upA little dirt never hurt1

I imagine the Cigars in my coolidor get turned enough, but the sticks in my aging humidor probably don't . They just get tagged, logged in to the database and sit peacefully until my aging report tells me it's been long enough, they need to be smoked or shared.
I have a pretty casual approach to it all.1 -
I was told by the forum to only turn them on a full moon.3

Now what is the point of turning them. Is someone claiming that the tobacco settles to one side?"Cooking isn't about struggling; It's about pleasure. It's like sǝx, with a wider variety of sauces."
At any given time the urge to sing "In The Jungle" is just a whim away... A whim away... A whim away...1 -
OCD 123... OCD 123
You have to ask yourself..How much time is wasted doing this? What benefits do you get? Less handling is less chance of damage.
But if you are OCD..... What if you are 1mm off on your turning process? does the nicotine settle to one side thus making the cigar unbalanced? How can you smoke an unbalanced cigar? I assume the flavors are impacted tremendously and the burn will be on the unbalanced side. Better get a set of 10,000 dollar micrometers to check that everything is plum as well. Maybe stick them in a lathe and turn them.
Better build a bunker also. Sunlight is harmful as well. I suggest digging a giant 15x15 hole in your living room. Be sure to install a bomb blast door just in case the Apocalypse happens or Zombies appear. You should be fine after that.
I suggest you do as I did. I went to MIT. It only cost my $275,000 but I did solve the cello theory. See my equation below involving a Robusto sized cigar
The end result is 1lb of air pressure by solving this theory.
Cello ends need to be opened up, but they will not expand just by opening them. This is to allow maximum air flow for proper humidification. My Theory has solved this issue.
Get a small compressor and insert a dial gauge inflator that allows only 1lb of air to enter the cello. When you apply 1lb of air it expands the cello enough so that maximum humidification is allowed to go over the entire circumference of the cigar while still inside the cello.
Your cigars will improve tremendously.
Your welcome.

You inadvertently clipped off the top two and bottom six lines of your jucular equation, thus making it very difficult to read. Please re-post, as I expect the last six lines include a hilarious punch line; because, you know, math jokes are always so hilarious.
“It has been a source of great pain to me to have met with so many among [my] opponents who had not the liberality to distinguish between political and social opposition; who transferred at once to the person, the hatred they bore to his political opinions.” —Thomas Jefferson (1808)

The secret to turning over your cigars is indecision. You dive in there to grab a stick, you can't make up your mind, and twenty five oh so aromatic minutes later, having fumbled your way thru the entire box, you are called away to dinner. That's how you do it.“It has been a source of great pain to me to have met with so many among [my] opponents who had not the liberality to distinguish between political and social opposition; who transferred at once to the person, the hatred they bore to his political opinions.” —Thomas Jefferson (1808)

^ I apologize in my haste, I was busy setting up my go fund me page to help with my education debt. I will be a better scholar next time when I do my next equation on the theory of 65% vs 70%.
Your indecision method is interesting. I am gonna go and look for a cigar now. See ya on Wednesday.Free Cuba

So is there a proper technique to gently shake or roll an unopened box to allow proper humidification to all sides of the contained cigarsA little dirt never hurt1
