Homemade Stubber Question

I made a couple of these last week after seeing the ones @Stubble has made. I rounded the ends so I could carry it in my pocket without getting wounded.
I hope I'm not stepping on anyone's toes by doing this, I just hate begging for things....especially when I havent paid my dues here.
I tried it out on a lancero thinking it would be the extreme test. It worked well, any suggestions on a better test before I make more for friends?

Thanks,
Mark

Great job on the stubber Mark @84CJ7 I have one that was given to me by a forum member and I use it every time I enjoy a cigar. Not sure how else to test it. Guess you could try it on a big ring cigar to see if it holds the cigar

That's cool as hell......and don't worry about stepping on toes, when being creative, just remember to make and extra one and send it my way lol

Thanks for the encouragement. I was afraid it wouldn't pierce the wrapper and just tear it up. Figured the smaller gauges would be the worst.
My next test will be a 54+ ring.

Mark,
How did you anchor the posts, or are they tight enough to get crammed in and stay in place?
I use a cork from a wine bottle to protect the tips... I think you'd like it more with a point on the tines. But if it works for you, that's great!

Made this one last week for myself and used the ring from my first cigar a my father lebijou 1922 that my neighbor gave me. And made another for my neighbor and used the second ring from that same cigar. Thanks to him I have no money just cigars. Lol. Maybe I can poke him in the eye with it.5

@peter4jc It worked really well on the lancero, only left the 2 tiny holes with no tearing. Then again, I haven't used it but the one time. Best part is no self inflicted wounds while in my pocket.
I used a 1/16th inch drill bit for the holes and 3/16th stainless steel TIG rod. Basically they are "pressed fit" into the antler.
@Njbow great idea, looks really good.

You guys are putting me to shame. I use a corn cob holder. It's not pretty, but it works.
P.S.: I don't use it in public, I do have a little pride!

Was at the dollar store with the wife over the weekend. Saw a pack of those and had the same thought. Maybe paint them or something?Logistics cannot win a war, but its absence or inadequacy can cause defeat. FM100-50 -
I did it cause I'm cheap...your corn cob holder cost more than this.

The Nubber looks great, you can get cork at places Hobby Lobby to put over the ends. I love mine. I use the one @peter4jc sent me, around Christmas I had these made for gifts. The cork was cheap to purchase.I was born a fool, and just got bigger!1

That's a really nice set, he does great work.
I think I want to try the thumb nubber that @YankeeMan invented.
