So after making this I realized I totally forgot to show the Tatuaje Skinny Monsters, the Pudgy Monsters, and the Room 101 Uncle Lee.

Nice stick collection. You need a Habanos drawer.

I need to arrange them better, they're kinda scattered.
When I pulled that Tat TAA out of that drawer, there were 4 of them, and they were all 2010, so they went up on the tray with the 2016s.

    That's gonna take some time.

I've been wanting one of those towers for quite some time.  Perhaps one day.

Thanks for inviting us into your humidor.

Nice humidor, thank you for the tour. I have been looking at that one. Wish it was a little wider, if it was I probably would have pulled the trigger already. Think it's the nicest out of the cabinets that are on the market currently.

If I had it to do over again, I would not buy this one.
They cut a hole in the top and added a box so that they could put the analog hygrometer into it.
The end result is you lose a lot of your humidity up in that box, because it's not lined with Spanish Cedar its particle board.
I shoved a bunch of plastic packing pillows up in there to fill it.

I had to put a second Hydra in it to maintain humidity.

    Seal it with ATV silicone,
ya that was pretty idiotic in the design. Nuff said, ain't getting that one. Good thing I didn't. O well, search for curio or china cabinet continues.

Here is the hole and the hygrometer it was designed for.
You can also see the particle wood that is on top of the Spanish Cedar.
Whoever designed this, must have been wearing his ass hat that day.

wow that is a big hole. At lease its on the top where you can cover it up and no one is going to see it

Maybe get a piece of cedar from a box and glue it in to cover the hole? Just a thought... Either way amazing setup there Jeff, thanks for sharing!

    So....
I reviewed the video, and I thought I saw a loose Opus in one of the drawers.
It turned out to be a Don Carlos belicoso.
But sitting right next to it was this lovely nug.  I thought I smoked the only one I had last week.

@Yakster  sent it to me awhile back.
    TYVM these are amazing.

I should pull the drawers out and catalog them, but that kind of ruins the surprise....

Yea you might want to just cover it since you are not really using the cabinet built hygrometer anyway.  There again I would use some ATV silicone between whatever you use and the piece that has the hole.

Is that MDF board?  Cant really tell in the picture.  A lot of people are using that these days.

I have been trying to find some of those, seems they are almost as rare as unicorns these says.

I think so, or OSB maybe.
I'm gonna buy a Spanish cedar board, 1/8" thick, and I'm just going to replace the entire ceiling.
That might be the easiest way to do this.
Cut it to the right size and screw it down.

Sounds like the best plan.  Use stainless steel screws.

Thicker Spanish cedar 1/4", 3/8" would be a better choice, then drill and screw it up into the MDF with a thin bead of wood glue, tight bond will work fine. Just making sure your only going to be sealing with caulking from the outside, wouldn't want that inside the humidor, the smell/ off gassing of the caulk/sealant would ruin your cigars, if done from the inside. Don't use RTV silicone sealant it smells horrendous, thats the stuff I use when sealing Engine/Transmission stuff on my Camaro, it will make your head spin.

What he said, since you loaded it up, I'd minimize any caulk.
I'll gladly bomb you Tuesday for an Opus today.

ATV silicone would be ok. It's basically aquarium silicone. I think I would still find a cooler to place contents in for a day or 2
