    All said and done about $1000.00.  I will detail out cost a little later when I have time.

    Cabinet 150 on a great deal. Normally 700
    spaniah cedar was north of 400. With some patience and searching may get it cheaper or if you decide to custom build shelves rather than out of solid stock. And I got it local. 
    180 or so for the Magna. Again can go DIY for around 65-70. Decided to go tried and true and I like the wifi module you can get. 
    Trays 200. Got too many but these were the cheapest I found at 13 each and then modded to fit. Could go with boxes or Tupperware. 
    Lights apx 50. 
    Back mdf apx 25-35 I think
    mosc parts and pieces prob 50-75.

    Was looking around locally and thought I share this here since so many are following this project.  This is a pretty stupid good deal in Orlando that I found on Craigslist.

    This right here is a much cheaper way to build shelves. However, takes specific tools and know how.

    @matkn293. I wish I had the loose $750 to spend on it right now.  I'd drive down to Orlando in a heart beat.  I've been looking at this exact model for a while now. It usually runs at least $1500.

    If it matters, you might put the boxes on strips of wood to raise them off the holes.

    It doesnt.  There is room in the back of the cabinets for airflow.  Most of the boxes do not cover all of the shelves anyway.

     so how many cigars have to be missing from the box before you take them out and put them in the singles tray?
    That's the part that really bothers me LOL
    And by the way.....this is what tetris looks like LOL small boxes on the bottom so the air slots are open for draft.  Skinny and pudgy monsters under the Opus boxes.  Amazon basin shoved in the middle.
