Re: Need Digital Hygrometers
I personally like the Xikar. Prefer the older ones with the calibrate button but have a one or two of the new ones with out it and after testing them they have been with in + or - 1 of being accurate. I also have the new Xikar with the wireless remote gage that you can monitor three different humidors from one monitor. But… -
Re: Found a dog
You're a good man to take the time to do this, his name should be Lucky. Lucky he found you. Really nice of you do that for him. My wife would take in just about any animal. At one time we had 2 dogs, 1 cat, an old trotter that was to be put out to pasture, a quarter horse, and a disabled crow we found walking one day. He… -
Re: Post a Pic of Your Ride
Basic vehicles here, old hunting truck, wife's explorer and typical salesman car. Got rid of my Ninja couple years back, had close call with a deer one morning on the way to work. Was running about 100 and deer run across the road less than 50 yards in front of me, parked it that night sold it two weeks later. I've owned 4… -
Re: If you could pick...
My choice would be either a Fonseca #1 or La Gloria Cubana Medaille de Oro #2, both Cuban. There is sense in giving someone a simple yet good cigar to start with, but I also feel there is sense in giving someone a cigar that will leave them wanting more like it. Both of the aforementioned cigars are mild-medium in strength… -
Re: Newbie question not read yet !
Capt: jihiggs:aging is 2 years minimum! I am going to go with Higgs on this statement. Not much happens to a cigar in 3 months. Maybe an equalization of humidity, but that is it. for my aging humi i tend to cut this statement in 1/2. one year minimum... for more mild cigars. Capt, we all have thrown about our scales for… -

Re: Looking for...**closed**
zeebra: Krieg:You have over $100 worth of cigars you are wanting, might want to put up some higher quality sticks for trade...just saying (excluding the opus of course). Hmm...didnt realize that. Maybe I need to rethink this trade for now. Thanks +1 I've got your list but to be frank with you I would want higher end sticks… -

This guy right here... he walks into Olde Towne on my 2nd So Cal herf back on '11 and starts passing out AF Anejo's and OpusX's to… -
Re: My Father Event
PuroFreak:Of the ones you've mentioned I've had the: Vegas Cubanas - More mild blend from Pepin that is still very flavorful. My Father Le Bijou 1922 - Full bodied oscuro wrapped smokes with TONS of flavor! My Father cedar wrap - Same as the regular My Father and the JJ Maduro which you already tried. All damn good smokes… -
Re: New Seattle NHL Team - The Kraken
A lot of graphics artists tend to want to keep clean lines for print/ cut or silk screening purposes and tend to want 5 colors or less, for those reasons. Being a pro team, you would think costs wouldn't come into play, but when you are making 20,000 shirts, each color and the more intricate designs cost more to prep and…
