I'm new have patience.
Do the Boveda packets work just as well in a Cooler and a Tupperware as they do in in a cedar (wood) box?
Does the cedar absorb, if any excess water//humidity. And would that excess be absorbed by the cigars?
Boveda is a two way system. It absorbs and releases moisture to maintain a consistent rh. They actually work better in a cooler because there is no absorption. Wooden humidors are porous and will soak up moisture and can draw it out of your cigars. This can be maintained by changing boveda packs more often. With a cooler there is no where for the moisture to be absorbed other than your cigars and the boveda packs. They last a great deal longer in a cooler.

Herf-a-dor cooler. Opinions. Looking at price of an ice chest. Would having the three organized shelves help the cigar by allowing more airflow. Keep thinking yes, then re-thinking coolers have been used with good results for a long time?
Quite a few of us use them. There is no airflow in a cooler so if you want shelves it would just be for organization. And yes, they are great for long term use.

I can see the attraction, those are beautiful pipes, Shawn. I'll live vicariously through your PAD.
