Edit: I forgot to mention I had always thought ribald rhymed with bald. Instead, I learned it rhymes with dribbled. I almost felt bad personally, but I don't as much as I feel bad for the word itself. To say it right, feels so damn wrong.

It's a pretty fúcked up situation. Nobody deserves that nightmare. I hope that this was not negligence. If it is, I hope the law suits drain that **** state. New Orleans is about to find out about responsibility. Lawsuits have already been filed over the attack on new years. Negligence and incompetence shouldn't cost people their lives or property. Fúck dei, **** environmental impacts, and fúck whatever else these shitbag politicians use for excuses. Make them PAY!!

These fires jolted my thinking in a few areas.
-Not everyone in CA is left of center.
-Fires don't give a rip about anything - they will f*ck you over no matter who you are.
-Somebody's political affiliation, whether I agree with them or not, does not affect their value as human being, nor does it change how I am to show empathy for them.

Like cutting down a tree to count the growth rings.
