Women were made to abandon their shoes and go about barefoot? Soldiers patrolling the streets enforcing dress codes? Armed troops shutting down civilian establishments that catered to those whose lifestyles he disapproved of? And all the wars he started? Don't you remember? It's all happened before, right?
