Well this is different.

Most of you know I moved. I verified my address at the post office. Mail has been forwarded regularly. I received notification that a cigar package arrived at the old address. WTF? Two days later nothing. Went to the PO talked with the counter lady. She was very cordial and went in the back to look for it. Nothing. She then called the cell phone of the route carrier in my area. No answer. She took down my number. Just received a call that the carrier put in the forwarding address system. She actually looked for it and verified she had it in her possession and personally put in the correct system to go out in tomorrow’s mail.

Pretty damn thoughtful and caring postal worker. Above and beyond IMHO.
