I am trying to figure out the architecture of that scene and the blue tape, the rat's nest of wires makes sense.
The architecture of that scene is as follows: there is a 30 or so inch pony wall separating the "front room" from the "formal dining room," which are on different levels as noted by the single stair in between them. Western US modern design BS that goes with the rest of the houses open floor plan. Supposed to make everything super spacious but separate rooms, I guess for the listing?
I would run a contest on the blue tape, but a lot of the guys here know about it from the vherf and they would all refuse to answer so the contest ran for 6 months. My autistic 15-year-old son constantly puts down, pulls up, re-puts down blue tape has runway or streets so he can play with his airplanes and cars. I don't even notice the freaking tape anymore.
Colugo: The 'flying lemur' that doesn't fly and isn't a lemur
By Mindy Weisberger published yesterday
This big-eyed rainforest mammal looks like a cross between a bat and a squirrel. It glides between treetops using a furry membrane that connects its limbs.
When fully extended, colugo "wings" stretch around 28 inches and make them resemble a living kite. (Image credit: Tanto Yensen/Getty Images)
