The fun social experiment part of this whole thing is that apparently people identify as a maga or not a maga as one of their most fundamental identifiers, and if they find offense with any little slight that they perceive with this identification they lose their minds about as much as they do with any identifying characteristic or trait.

Does MAGA automatically mean one explicitly identifies with Trump, the right leaning OR does it simply mean what the acronym implies (if one believes America is broken OR maybe needs improvement).

I think that if you would take a poll of most non red hat wearing people, they would say that it means that they are trumpers. If you take a poll of all of the red hats, I think that they would lie and say that it is mostly the third but split a little more evenly and in reality is probably 1/3 of each of those.

Here's opinion that I will get killed for, I think that maga is a dog whistle for make America white again and make America Christian again, both of which repulse me.

For anyone who really wants it to mean or thinks that it means make America great again, I strenuously object 😂. To me, America has always had problems and has always been the greatest country in the world. I've dedicated my life to that belief, and so the literal meaning of the words in the slogan are just a bunch of demagoguery to me.
